Evren Sandal

I graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2002 as a medical doctor in 2008 and started my specialization at Istanbul University Cardiology Institute Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic in the same year. I took the specialization exam again in 2010 and transferred to Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Brain and Neurosurgery. I worked intensively with Prof. Dr. M. Sedat Çağlı in the field of craniocervical junction surgery and completed my specialization in 2015 with my thesis study in this field and received my specialization in Brain and Neurosurgery. I started working at Health Sciences University Tepecik Training and Research Hospital in the same year. I worked intensively in my field of interest, skull base, craniocervical junction and neurovascular surgery and in 2020, I participated in laboratory studies in the field of skull base surgery and cerebral bypass surgery at the University of Wisconsin in the USA and was an observer in the clinic and operating room with Prof. Başkaya. I continue my work in the field of skull base, neurovascular and craniocervical junction surgery.
