Very modern and quite cheap but I kind of doubt the experience of some of the dentists as I was asked to do a panoramic xray instead of a local one. They couldn't see anything on the panoramic xray so they couldn't give advice about the source of my pain, they even suggested a wisdom tooth extraction! (turns out that was an infection).

The orthodontist was really kind and gave his opinions without being pushy. He gave good options for my daughter's over bite while explaining the pros and cons of getting treatment sooner or later. He also was helpful in answering all of our questions very kindly.

PRICE Gouging at the finest- as soon as the dentist knew I was from N Zealand.. For a simple wisdom tooth extraction (the tooth was above the gum- it wasn't buried at all) it cost 4000 baht all up (including Xrays/meds). This is probably the same price I would have paid if I did it in NZ. Should have gone to CIDC instead- I think their prices are more transparent and I think it would have only cost 1000-2000 baht (on doing more research) With regards to service- no complaints here- it was professionally done. Clean and modern facilities. So the lesson is to know the rough prices and shop around. I was swayed to come here on the recommendation of a tour guide. Unfortunately there is one price for the locals and another price for tourist.

I'm in Chiang Mai for only 3 days and my front tooth veneer decided to break in half at the cooking class I attended last night. I called Dental World and made a same day appointment. Dr. Mai was wonderful and somehow managed to piece together my veneer so that I could feel normal at least until I get back home and need to get a new one. Thank you so much.

I came to the clinic after 2 other clinics that were not availble to accept me without an appointment first. I needed a quick treatment because my retainer behind me teeth (fixation a braces) penetrated to my gums and this can do an infection. Dental world accepted me immediately and the doctor was amazingly kind and patient and explained every step she did.The whole thing took only 40 minutes.Great place, i fully reccommand!!
