Infertility treatments

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

The method of fertilization which is similar to the natural way. Specialists select the fertile spermatozoids of a partner or donor and implant them into the woman’s uterus during ovulation.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

During this method, sperm fertilization of the egg occurs in vitro, not in the uterus.

IVF consists of 5 main steps:

• stimulation of ovulation in women
• egg and sperm collection
• eggs and sperm matching in the laboratory
• selection of the best embryo and its introduction into the uterus
• freezing the remaining embryos (optional) for the future.

IVF can be done with donor eggs and sperm.

In IVF for lesbian couples, both partners participate — one is an egg donor, and the other carries a child.

PGT — Preimplantation Genetic Testing

The PGT test allows choosing a healthy embryo without deviations, which is most likely to take root in the uterus.

Pregnancy Guarantee Programs

A woman:

• Anti-Müllerian hormone level > 1.5
• the follicular antrum <15
• luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and thyroid-stimulating hormone levels are normal
• healthy uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes
• BMI (body mass index) > 35
• the normal karyotypes
• no bad habits.

A man:

• up to 50 years old
• the sperm sample is normal
• the normal karyotypes
• no bad habits.

Requirements for the program with donated eggs

A woman:

• up to 50 years old
• no uterine pathologies
• all laboratory tests are normal
• BMI (body mass index) > 35
• no bad habits.
