Special big thank you 🙏 to Chiangmai Ram Hospital Myanmar for taking great care of our brother Roel. On 2/16/19, he had a massive brain bleed and within an hour admitted to surgery. Without their professional and compassionate care, we wouldn’t be where we are right now; my brother is now well enough to fly home back to us. All the staff were impressive and held high standards and hospital is equipped with state of the art technology equipment. Thank you to the doctors, nu…rses, therapists, medical staff, and cleaning staff for pouring their heart into caring for him as their own. It really took a village. They’ll go on taking care of the next few hundreds of lucky patients while Roel and Rodel (twin) are in-flight as of 4/11/19. They are greatly appreciated and they have helped our lives for the better most especially, Roel “Pio”. Though long road to recovery is certain, they’ve made sure Pio was getting the best care and consistent aggressive therapy. God bless you all! — feeling thankful.

My girlfriend got food poisoning and coming here was the right choice. She got helped immediately, the people spoke good English and even though it is a private hospital, the price was reasonable (1900 bht (~€58,-) for consult, tests and medicines - she was not insured).

Disgustingly overpriced, with poor service as well. Other hospitals in town are literally a fraction of the price and are more helpful and hospitable. Avoid if possible.

Great experience. Helpful staff that spoke great English. Fresh and clean waiting room and facilities. I can in for an abscess removal and I have zero complaints. Very straightforward

Clean, speak great English, fast and know there stuff, BUT well known for being several times more expensive than other places. Don't go to RAM unless you have insurance. They are well known for being several times more expensive than other places.
I went for a medical certificate (200 baht for a 20 minute doctors appointment) but before hand wanted to know how much to have a small cyst removed.
They would not tell me an idea of a price until I saw a doctor (500 baht for 2 minutes to confirm it was a cyst) but he would not do the medical certificate as that was a different department and I would have to pay again around the corner with another doctor
4500 baht for the cyst removal, I walked out just paying for my 2 minutes after another guy told me his quote was 6000 and why didn't we do what we did growing up and use a hot needle and do it ourselves.
RAM is well known for taking advantage of westerners but it is cheaper than you are used too if you are American. For me RAM's price was 5 times more than a doctor in New Zealand so I decided to wait until I go there and get my medical procedure done outside of Thailand. If your used to socialize healthcare RAM will shock you.
For this extra costs compared to other hospitals in Chiang Mai you do get excellent service, English speaking staff, short wait times and clean surroundings. You NEVER get medicine from there pharmacy and always ask for a prescription to take to any other pharmacy (they like to say you can only get this pill from them, but any pharmacy will give you a cheaper generic version)
Not sure why I was stupid enough to go there after living here for 5 years and knowing the reputation. Got the cyst removed at a local clinic and my medical certificate for less than the price of seeing the RAM doctor for 2 minutes. In an emergency RAM is fantastic. I give them 3 stars because they are ripping you off for everyday complaints compared to a normal clinic or another hospital.

Had an eye injury and advised by Thai friend to go here as they provide good service and speak good English. I booked in which went smoothly, make sure you have your passport. Waited about 40 minutes before I saw doctor, but that's fine. Doctor very efficient and diagnosed corneal abrasion, she even let me take pics of the cut to my iris. Treated and prescribed prophylactic antibiotics. Bill came to 685 Baht, about £17 and this included the prescription charge. Excellent value. I was in and out in about 80 minutes. I would go again.
