Due to its location close to shopping malls in the city center, close to the main arteries and rail system, Medicana Bursa Hospital was positioned as the first hospital for scholarships to apply for many health problems. Our hospital is located on the street next to Carrefour Shopping Center between Acemler metro station and Nilüfer metro station.

Advanced Oncology Unit

The Oncology Unit deals with Surgery, Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. The unit uses up-to-date technology, including Versa HD and Synergy Platform devices that allow many treatments in one device with volumetric arc therapy (VMAT), intensity-adjusted radiotherapy (IMRT), radiotherapy in the image guide ( IGRT), and Stereotactic (SRS-SBRT), i.e. point shot.

Oncological Surgery

The Oncology Department provides cancer surgery and minimally invasive surgical procedures with the highest technology. A multidisciplinary treatment available general surgery, thoracic surgery, gynecologic oncology, urology, neurosurgery, head and neck surgery. 

The General Surgery Department studies and treats breast cancer and benign breast tumors, esophageal cancer, esophageal cancer and esophageal benign diseases, stomach cancer, colon cancer, rectum tumors, anorectal tumors, liver cancer, liver benign and malignant tumors, cysts, gallbladder and tract tumors, pancreatic cysts.

The Gynecological Oncology Unit deals with gynecological cancers. Laparoscopic procedures are performed for the treatment of cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, vulva-vagen cancers.

The Ear Nose Throat and Head and Neck Surgery department carries out treatment for throat, larynx, pharynx, paranasal sinus and nasal cavity tumors, tonsil and salivary gland cancers, surgical treatment of tumors located in the oral cavity, the floor of the mouth, tongue, the uppermost part of the throat, the area connecting the rest to the throat, the lower part of the throat and the area under it, the auricle and the external ear canal are performed.

The Neurosurgery Department: brain and spinal cord tumors, brain stem tumors are treated surgically.

The Urology Department serves patients with kidney and testicular cancer, provides urological oncology surgeries.
