Doctors of the Department specialize in the treatment of the abdominal cavity organs, thyroid gland, and skin. They carry out such operations as:

• removal of the gallbladder;
• removal of colon polyps;
• treatment of umbilical, inguinal hernia;
• partial or complete removal of the thyroid gland.

• Laparoscopic surgery

The procedure is carried out through 3-4 small punctures up to 1 cm wide. A doctor performs all the manipulations using miniature instruments and a camera. Laparoscopy is applied to remove the gallbladder or treat hernia. The procedure leaves unnoticeable scars, and the recovery is rapid. A patient is able to get up from the bed the next day.

• Endoscopic surgery
