The Surgery Department of Mont Louis Hospital ranks as the first medical facility in Paris due to the number of operations performed. The Clinic is equipped with the innovative equipment: high-precision MRI and CT, 3D visualization programs, colonoscopy devices, fibroscopy, dopplerography.
Annually doctors of the Clinic conduct:

Orthopedics and Traumatology
The Orthopedics and Traumatology Department is considered as the main one in the Medical Center. Orthopedists carry out the replacements of the hip, knee and shoulder joints.
How are joint replacements performed?
Most operations are minimally invasive and are performed through a small incision in the skin (about 6-10 cm). The duration of the surgery is 1 hour.
During the procedure, the ligaments are not damaged. That’s why the recovery period takes 1-2 weeks.
Doctors of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department specialize in arthroscopic diagnostics and operations. Procedures are performed using optical and microsurgical instruments through punctures of up to 2 cm.
When is arthroscopy used?
- for examination of joint pathologies. It increases the accuracy of the diagnosis up to 100%;
- for the removal of the knee meniscus;
- for surgery of benign tumors of the shoulder, knee, and elbow;
- for the arthroplasty of anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments.
The Department of Hand and Hand Surgery includes 5 specialists. They perform microsurgical interventions to treat:
- carpal tunnel syndrome;
- Dupuytren's contracture;
- Nott's disease;
- tumors.
Service
Patients live in 1-room wards of different categories. Each room has a TV, telephone and shower room.
Nutrition consists of 3 meals a day. Patients get a menu for choosing dishes.
The accompanying person may live in the same room with a patient for an additional fee.

A éviter absolument. Mal traitée verbalement et De plus, je n'arrive pas à me faire rembourser les honoraires anesthésie et intervention chirurgicale gastroentérologie qui n'a pas eu lieu. total 134 euros. Courrier envoyé à la direction et aucune réponse 3 semaines plus tard

I was treated respectfully and efficiently at the reception, and directed to the waiting room for my colonoscopy. There, the communication was NOT efficient, and I had to wait more than 30 minutes until I was approached by a nurse, who guided me through the process. This needs improvement! On the other hand, she and everyone else were both respectful and kind to me, and the colonoscopy procedure went as well as I could have wanted. My recovery and release went exactly as I had been told in advance. Overall, it was a reassuring and supportive environment, needing improvement in communication at the arrivals waiting room.

1. L'accueil est horrible, j'avais rdv pour ma chirurgie a 10h15 je suis arrivé une heure en avance et même comme ça j'ai passé presque une heure de retard juste pour les démarches d'admission, le secrétariat de preanesthesie c'est trompé et j'ai été mal remboursé, très mauvais service administratif.2. L'équipe de anesthésistes et le chirurgien c'était bien.

Mon fils s'est fait retirer les dents de sagesse en déambulatoire et franchement tout s'est très bien passé. La personne a l'accueil (alexandra je crois) a été très gentille et souriante et l'ensemble du personnel très bien. Alors forcément c'est une clinique il y a beaucoup de monde mais tout est bien organisé. J'avais peur en voyant les avis mais moi mon expérience est positive.

Dans le cadre d'un traitement je suis amenée à venir dans cette clinique tous les 2 mois depuis 5 ans. Au fil des années, je ne peux que constater le manque de compétence du personnel de l’accueil, de la prise en charge administrative…Je ne parle même pas du turn over du personnel infirmier.Aujourd’hui, j’ai appris que mon rendez-vous avait été annulé sans en être avisée, une fois sur place. Pose de jour de congé, transports, etc, pour rien. La raison, l’équipe de l’accueil administratif n’avait pas effacé mon ancien n° de téléphone quand ils ont enregistré le nouveau…et bien entendu personne n’a essayé de me joindre sur le 2nd n° de téléphone qui apparaissait dans mon dossier (qui était le bon et le nouveau n°).Il n’y a qu’une seule femme compétente à l’accueil administratif (voir 2 avec une nouvelle d’aujourd’hui que je n’avais jamais vu, toutes 2 avec de longues tresses), cela fait des années que les personnes comme moi qui viennent pour un traitement doivent être prises en charge rapidement et sans attente (dossier simple et rapide) et pourtant … ce n’est jamais le cas sauf si j’ai la chance de tomber au moment où la seule femme efficace et compétente est présente. En effet, j’ai connu des 1h et bien plus, d’attente avec 3 personnes dans la salle d’attente uniquement et avec l’infirmière qui m’appelait sur mon portable pour me demander où j’étais... Ça fait des années que les mêmes femmes à l’accueil administratif n’en en ont rien à faire et ne veulent pas prendre en charge rapidement les patients tels que moi.Je suis contrainte de venir là car mon médecin qui est un excellent médecin (Dr Bumsel) ne reçoit pour le traitement que dans cette clinique, hélas. En 5 ans venant 6 fois par an, je pourrais citer beaucoup d’incidents déplorables, mais j’ai déjà perdu ma journée et je ne vais pas perdre en plus ma soirée sur le sujet.En résumé, à éviter et je compte bien changer de médecin qui puisse me prescrire ce traitement afin de pouvoir en bénéficier ailleurs. C’en est trop.

The staff of Clinique du Mont Louis was completely professional in my care. I had a cataract removed by Dr Camille Rambaud. From the beginning of my arrival at the clinic until discharge later in the day, I felt that my care was customized to me and my needs and preferences. Everyone worked so hard to make the surgery successful and comfortable for me. The nursing staff was friendly and personally interested in my outcome and the support staff made sure that my information was correct and available to the medical team. Dr Rambaud is so talented and personable.I would not hesitate to use this Clinique and medical team again.

J'ai lus les avis j'ai eu peur, j'ai fait une opération le matin novembre 2019 c'est nickel 18/20, les avis négatifs ils veulent nuire ou jalousie d'autres confrères, bon si vous rembourser un peu plus c'est la santé n'a pas de prix, comme ailleurs, dieu est témoin que je suis un particulier
