If I could give 0 stars, I would. My father has a heart blockage and urgently needs an angioplasty. I’ve consulted with other doctors and hospitals, but my father has been adamant about getting treated by Dr. Devi Shetty. Honestly, I hesitated to book an appointment after reading reviews about how difficult it is to actually meet him—most said you have to travel back and forth for 7–10 days because he often leaves before the appointment due to emergencies.
I completely understand that emergencies happen in a doctor’s profession. But patients like my father are also in an emergency, and repeatedly travelling 20 km each way (or more, for outstation patients) just for a consultation is exhausting, expensive, and stressful.
Our experience was exactly what I feared. On 12th August, we waited for hours, were made to redo ECG and echo (even though we had them done just three days ago), and then at 3 pm were told the doctor had to leave. They asked us to come back the next day.
So on 13th August, we arrived at 8 am again—only to be told at reception that the doctor was not seeing adults that day. They rescheduled us to the 14th, gave us a card, and asked us to call a number before starting. But when I called, it turned out to be a generic helpline, not the reception. The person who answered said there was no appointment under my father’s name (Arun Kanti Deb) and told me to come back yet again on the 15th!
For a family already dealing with a medical crisis, this whole process has been nothing but frustrating, disorganised.
Some Edition- All staffs are very rude & doesn't answer queries! They behave as if they are treating for free! Rude mostly because, even staffs don't have any idea about Dr. Devi Shetty's schedule. I see some patients of 7th August haven't been able to consult the doctor yet.
Suggestion- If you want to consult Dr. Devi Shetty, then book your stay somewhere around Narayana, so that you can come & sit here half day, everyday just to consult the doctor!.

The worst staff ever, very bad experience with the staff, especially the receptionist.i don't remember her name properly I heard her name is Vidya, building name:mazumdar shah medical centre 7th floor. Please don't hire such people who don't know how to behave with patients.doctor damodar is very kind person but she is just a big idiot .

Facing pathetic experience today. This is our first visit here for my uncle's small operation. Initially doctor given estimated time of 3 hours (1 hour for operation and 2 hours for post operation observations and clearance process). We came here at around 8 am today (as recommended by doctor). Operation is completed by 9:45, still now clearance processes are not completed. Just wanted to mention here, we have already paid the full amount in advance, no insurance processes are there. Moreover, no one is here who can give an approximate time to release the patient. And finally their behaviour, it's like wow, I mean even labours behave gently than these people. I am not sure when will return back home today. Will update remaining exp later. Only suggestion to everyone, please keep twice time free as the initial estimated time.

Very worst hospital. No humanity, no hospitalist. Totally dosen't care customers. Bad support from staff.useless hospital , no it's not hospital money making machine. They have to learn what is hospitality.

Went here at late night with a fever and spent 4hrs there guess the amount I had to pay.
It was 24k.
Even if you do all the tests outside in a private firm, or at any part of this country with this hours you wouldn't have to spent 1/4 of it.
There hasn't been any hospital in this country which is more expensive than this.
Never ever visit this hospital ever even if your are about to die.
It's better to die than to get robbed by these corporates, renting the words from on of the doctors at the same hospital

We are trying from morning to get the test report but the Customer Care people are transferring the call to dispatch team and they are not pick the call. We are calling your customer care more than eight time. Tomorrow we are having a doctor appointment without this report it’s of no use. We never expected this kind of poor response from Narayana health care .
