The Geoffroy Saint Hilaire Clinic (Clinique Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire) has 12 surgery units, 19 outpatient departments and 6 intensive care units. The hospital offers 177 beds.
The quality of medical services in Geoffroy Saint Hilaire Clinic is controlled by state organizations:
- HAS is a public health organization. Certification of HAS confirms safety, high-quality service and high level of medical care.
- COMEDIMS is a drug control organization. The COMEDIMS Commission also deals with the sterility of medical facilities and their equipment.
- CRUQPC is a commission for the protection of patients' rights. Guarantees quality service for patients and their relatives.
The Clinic has own committee for risk management (COVIR). COVIR specialists monitor the hospital's conditions, conduct staff training and deal with biosafety issues.
Main specialties of the Clinic
- Visceral surgery. Doctors perform surgical treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. Operations can be performed laparoscopically. After this procedure, the patient restores more quickly.
- Vascular Surgery for atherosclerosis, aortic aneurysm, varicose veins treatment.
- Ophthalmology. The department treats a wide range of eye diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment. Surgical and conservative methods of treatment are used.
- Orthopedics. Specialists of the department perform arthroplasty of the joints, treat valgus deformity and tunnel carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Urology. Doctors of the department specialize in the treatment of urolithiasis, prostate adenoma, bladder polyps.
Diagnostics Department
The Clinic uses modern diagnostic methods like:
- Dopplerography. It helps to analyze the characteristics of blood vessels, the speed of blood flow, to detect atherosclerotic plaques.
- Angiography. The method is used for contrast radiographic examination of vascular pathologies.
- Holter monitoring (daily ECG) used for prolonged examination of the heart rhythm. It helps diagnose heart disease and monitor the pacemaker.
Service
To accommodate patients, the Clinic offers standard single and double rooms, as well as VIP rooms. There are TV and Wi-Fi. For an additional fee of € 30 a day you can have a relative of a companion to live with you.
The Clinic offers a comprehensive diet recommended by the doctor. VIP patients can visit the Gault Millau restaurant.
The Clinic will provide a coordinator. He makes a schedule of treatment and provides a reservation for all necessary procedures.

Un très bon établissement de santé tant par qualité humaines et professionnelles des chirurgiens et anesthésistes (je parle de chirurgie de la colonne vertébrale) que par les soins durant le séjour sans oublier une hygiène rigoureuse. Le personnel est aimable et prévenant, de la femme de ménage à l'infirmière en chef. Toutes les précautions sont prises pour assurer la sécurité du patient aussi bien avant une intervention que lors de la préparation puis le suivi post opératoire.

Opérer cette semaine par le docteur Enkaoua pour une arthrodèse du dos, rien à dire, cela s'est très bien passé, l' ensemble du personnel de la clinique sympa et très professionnel, je recommande cette clinique à tous ceux qui ont des problèmes de dos.

Ne prennent pas la carte vitale et le wifi est payant ! 2,50€ les 2 heures ! Sinon la prise en charge médicale est top. Dommage pour le côté rat du reste.

The surgery part of the hospital is absolutely fine I suppose.
BUT, for example:
Had a small question the day before my intervention. Mid afternoon…
1. Nobody answers the hospital telephone.
2. No reply to online contact form on the ramsayservices.fr website.
3. No reply to online contact form on the hospital website.
4. No email address is offered (which is okay but then you need to answer the telephone or reply to contact forms).
And, small things: On the day, on check-in, you get a number for the inscribing queue. Of the two monitors advising who (which number) is next, one was not working and the other only partially working.
After check-in I was advised to go to the clinical area and on arrival, I was told to go back to the waiting room until called.

Une super clinique...Hospitalisée au 3e, du 11 au 13 janvier 2020 pour une micro (hernie discale)par le docteur Edouard...chambre double superbe, spacieuse, moderne...On y mange très bien ,Le couchage est top,Toute l'équipe para médicale et médicale est sympathique, efficace, disponible...l'anesthésiste ,super agréable et efficace, est passé me voir en post op et à J1..Le chir Docteur Edouard Brice est un magicien, sympa, est aussi passé me voir en post op et J1...Bref, je recommande

Je suis rentré dans cette clinique le 18 décembre pour être opéré le 19 et sortie le 21. Accueil au top et avec le sourire.Service vasculaire au top très souriant très aimable très attentionné et prévenant. Les aides soignant"e"s les infirmier"è"s "un merci à une infirmière de nuit qui se prénomme "Leia" les médecins les brancardiers la secrétaire Brigitte le chirurgien Docteur Aninjar l'anesthésiste le service facturation. Tous ou vous vous trouvez dans cette clinique savent vous dirent bonjour avec un sourire. Contrairement à ce que l'on avait pu m'en décrire auparavant je recommande cette clinique privée qui soigne le pauvre et le riche dont les soins et l'attention sont les mêmes contrairement à d'autre hôpitaux que j'ai pu connaître à Paris . Merci à tous.

I had a surgery in the hospital to remove my gallbladder. My surgeon and anastethiologist were just great and perfect. The GA was very good and I recovered very fast. However, the night nurses were just horrible. They made me cry. They were so rude and they were not helping me at all. I asked to help me go to the bathroom when I was still weak and she refused and yelled at me. And when I asked her to do something for me every time I asked she said she was alone on the floor and could not help me. Even though I heard nurses laughing in the corridor. Also I had no towel in the room and they only brought it to me one hour before I left, even though I have been asking from the first minute I came as I had nothing to wipe my hands dry after I washed them. Also, my toilet seat was broken in half and the toilet seat was yellow and dirty and looked like someone puked all over it and it was visible that they could remove the dirt. Very good doctors at the hospital but the service at the hospital is just horrible.

Les secrétaires médicales étaient très polies et avenantes.Ensuite, j’ai été prise en charge par un charmant et aimable jeune homme pour l’infiltration qui vous explique gentiment la procédure à suivre. L’infiltration a été effectuée par le Dr Nathalie Chemla, très aimable, professionnelle et vous explique en détail le processus avec beaucoup d’empathie.A l’issue, je suis passée aux résultats avec le Dr Mani, à l’écoute du patient. Je recommande vivement cette clinique composée d’un personnel de qualité.

Très satisfaite de mon hospitalisation pour une cure d'hernie discale avec le Dr Barut. Personnel accueillant, souriant, disponible, à l'écoute, rassurant. ( De l'accueil à la sortie, en passant par la salle de réveil et autres services)
