Dr. Robert Schmidhammer is a leading specialist in peripheral nerve surgery, brachial plexus injuries, reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery. He holds a doctoral degree with a focus in human genetics. He is accredited by the Austrian and German Societies for Hand Surgery and the American Society for Peripheral Nerve Damage.
Dr. Schmidhammer has led research in nerve regeneration. His work explores how movement and bioabsorbable materials affect nerve repair.
