Ellen is a dedicated practitioner who has been working with horses and healing modalities for several years. She is a psychologist, healer, horse whisperer, animal communicator, and writer. Particularly passionate about using Reiki, equine-assisted constellations, and equine-facilitated meditation to help individuals connect with horses and tap into their healing power. Owner of the Alaya Retreat Center.
Dr. Ellen Christiaanse is an expert in alternative healing. She combines evidence-based methods with holistic practices. She earned a Doctorate in Information Systems from MIT. She also holds a Master’s in Organizational Psychology.

Dr. Christiaanse is certified as a Reiki Master, Yin Yoga Teacher, Sound Therapy Healer, and Horse-Assisted Coach. She has led more than 100 wellness retreats. These include Yoga, Meditation, Detox, and Women’s programs. She is known for her innovative healing techniques and dedication to integrative health. Her client satisfaction rate is over 95%.
