Igor Šimonyk is the director of the St. Zdislava Hospital and deputy chief physician of the Robotic Surgery Center.

Since 2004, the doctor has been performing obesity treatment (bariatric surgery) using the Da Vinci robot and operations on the anterior abdominal wall (skin tightening on the abdomen, hernia removal).

1994-1999 – studied general medicine at Masaryk University, Brno;
2002 - 1st degree certification in surgery;
