The focus of our clinic is on comprehensive treatment of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases. Heart diseases manifest in three areas: blood flow to the heart muscle through the coronary arteries, heart rhythm, and heart strength and valve function. Invasive Diagnostics and Therapy:

2 digital flat-panel left heart catheter labs with approx. 3,000–4,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per year
Coronary angiographies, intravascular pressure measurements to assess the hemodynamic relevance of coronary stenosis, PTCA, stent implantation (PCI), drug-eluting balloon (DEB), lesion preparation in calcified stenoses using intravascular lithotripsy (shockwave lithotripsy), rotablation
Intravascular imaging with intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) & optical coherence tomography (OCT)
Recanalization of chronically occluded coronary arteries (CTO recanalization)
24-hour catheter readiness for acute heart attacks/coronary syndromes
Outpatient heart catheter diagnostics
Catheter-based aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in collaboration with nearby university hospitals
Structural catheter-based procedures for AV valves (mitral and tricuspid valves)
PFO and left atrial appendage closure
Implantations (about 75 procedures per year) and management/monitoring
