Dr. Mirac Ozalp is an Associate Professor of obstetrics and gynecology practicing at Liv Hospital Ulus. He is a perinatology specialist who treats high-risk pregnancies and performs prenatal diagnostics. Dr. Ozalp holds a minor specialization in perinatology and provides care for complex fetal conditions.
High-Risk Pregnancy & Fetal Care
Dr. Ozalp treats pregnancies that require intensive monitoring and specialized medical intervention. He performs invasive fetal procedures to diagnose and treat conditions before birth. These include intrauterine fetal blood transfusions and chorionic villus sampling (CVS) – a biopsy of placental tissue. He also handles cervical cerclage to help prevent preterm labor in patients.
The doctor uses detailed ultrasound and fetal echocardiography to monitor fetal development. This imaging helps in the early detection of structural or cardiac issues in the womb. - Maternal obesity during the perinatal period
- Painless normal delivery and epidural cesarean sections

Dr. Ozalp has held research roles at Turkish medical institutions. He is the training responsible for the Perinatology Clinic in Istanbul. This role involves teaching the next generation of gynecologists and perinatology specialists. He attained the rank of Associate Professor in 2022 and 2023.
