Prof. Rela became No.1 liver transplant specialist when a team of doctors led by him performed the unique liver transplant surgery for a 5-day child in 1997. This operation was a breakthrough in the field of liver transplantation. Dr. Rela got into the Guinness Book of Records due to this surgery.
