Dr. Vayntrub is a pediatric endocrinologist with twenty years of experience, working with children at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) as the head of the pediatric endocrinology department.
Specialization:
- diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus,
- chronic diseases with growth disorders (pathologies) due to genetic diseases: pituitary dwarfism, Shereshevsky-Turner syndrome, chondrodystrophy,
- disorders of sexual development (premature sexual development or its delay),
- violations of sexual differentiation (incorrect registration of the sex of a newborn child),
- diagnosis and treatment of hermaphroditism,
- diagnosis and treatment of adrenogenital syndrome (congenital dysfunction of the adrenal cortex),
- treatment of thyroid disorders,
- obesity, leading to diabetes, high blood pressure, menstrual irregularities in girls, sexual development in boys and other pathologies,
- detection of malignant tumors of the endocrine system
- treatment of diabetes insipidus, pathologies of the adrenal and parathyroid glands, congenital enzymopathies
Education:
Tel Aviv University, specialty: endocrinologist.
Israel Polytechnic Institute (Technion) in Haifa, specialization in pediatrics.
New York Medical Center, studied and conducted research on the topic of blood diseases, allowing to evaluate the work of all organs and systems of the human body.
Institute of Child and Adolescent Endocrinology, Beilinson Hospital, Israel
Children's Hospital at the University of Toronto, Canada, internship and advanced training in pediatric endocrinology.
Currently, Dr. Vayntrub heads the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at Ichilov, is active in research, teaches at Tel Aviv University, gives presentations on pediatric, adolescent and family medicine at symposia, conferences, and publishes in scientific journals.
