As laparoscopic surgery is a specific area of Dr. Onur Kesler’s interest, he increases his knowledge in this field by taking additional courses and learning from the best. Specifically, Dr. Onur Kesler has been working with Prof. Dr. Halil Coskun who is one of the pioneers of obesity surgery.

Education

2003 — graduated from the Medical Faculty of Istanbul University with the diploma of a general surgery specialist
Received training on obesity surgery at Istanbul Medical Faculty.

Achievements

During his tenure in Kahramanmaras Yenisehir State Hospital, Dr. Onur Kesler established the Endoscopy Unit and contributed to the endoscopy training of his colleagues.
For the last 2 years, he has been working on a new modified obesity surgery called “Combined Surgery.”
