Dr. Rahib Hasanov is a medical oncologist. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1999–2005). He completed an internal medicine residency (2009–2013) and a medical oncology fellowship at Marmara University (2015–2018). He also completed an observership at Houston Methodist Hospital (2006–2007).

He focuses on personalized oncology. His treatments include immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and novel agents. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal, breast, lung, and genitourinary cancers.

He attends national and international conferences. He welcomes patients from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Georgia, Uzbekistan, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

Specialist Dr. Rahib Hasanov was born in 1981 in Azerbaijan. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education there, he took his first step into the medical profession by studying at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (English Program) between 1999 and 2005.

Between 2006 and 2007, Hasanov participated in an Observership Program at Houston Methodist Hospital in the state of Texas, USA. During this period, he had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading physicians and closely observe the most advanced practices of modern medicine.

He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine between 2009 and 2013. He then successfully completed his Medical Oncology fellowship at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine between 2015 and 2018, further deepening his scientific knowledge and clinical experience in the field of oncology.

Throughout his career, he has attended numerous national and international congresses, seminars, and courses, keeping up with the latest developments in oncology. He has incorporated modern treatment methods—such as immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and smart drugs—into his clinical practice. With experience gained both in Turkey and abroad, he has developed a strong vision in personalized oncology treatments.

During his professional life, Hasanov has welcomed many patients not only from Turkey but also from various regions, particularly Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Middle Eastern countries, and regularly receives patients from Europe and the United States as well.

Building his medical philosophy on scientific advancements, ethical values, and a patient-centered approach, Specialist Dr. Rahib Hasanov has become an internationally recognized and preferred oncology specialist, with an approach that centers on trust, knowledge, and compassion.
