Dr. Santosh Kumar Hakkalamani is an orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in lower limb replacement and knee surgeries.

Career

Dr Hakkalamani worked as a consultant at several university hospitals in the UK and spent 12 years performing joint replacement and arthroscopic knee surgery.

Education

1998 - JJM Medical College, Davanger, India;
2004 - Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK;
2016 - Manipal University, India.

He completed a Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship at UHCW Coventry Hospital and a Knee Soft Tissue Reconstruction Fellowship at York Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Achievements

2013 - 1st Prize for Presentation at the 34th Meeting of the International Society for Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT);
2010 - 1st Prize in Orthopaedics at the British Orthopaedic Trainee Association (BOTA) meeting;
2006 - 2nd Prize for Presentation at the British Orthopaedic Foot Society (BOFSS) meeting.
