He also served at Gaziosmanpaşa University and Şırnak State Hospital. This experience has given him a strong clinical background.

He earned his medical degrees from İzmir Katip Çelebi University and Selçuk University. Dr. Azmi Hamzaoglu is a leading spine surgeon with 36 years of experience in orthopedics and traumatology. He founded the Istanbul Scoliosis and Spine Center, the first facility in Turkey focused on spine surgery.
