She graduated from Ankara Başkent High School in 1992 and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. She completed her specialty training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and became a psychiatry specialist in 2005.

She has received Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Group Supervision training; Level I and II Family Therapies Training; Cognitive Psychotherapy Training; Family and Relationship Therapies Training and has articles published in local and foreign journals. Her field of interest is family and relationship therapies.

Born in 1976 in Dashoguz, Turkmenistan,  Prof. Serdar Nurmedov graduated from Trabzon Kanuni Anatolian High School in 1996 and Karadeniz Technical University in 2002. In the same year, he started working as a research assistant at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and became a Psychiatry Specialist in 2009. After becoming a specialist, he worked at NPISTANBUL hospital until 2015 and during this time he took an active role in the establishment of Turkey's first private Addiction Treatment Center. Between 2015 and 2023, he held various positions in Acıbadem Health Group and received the title of Associate Professor in Psychiatry in 2019.

Since the most important factor in his choice of psychiatry is his interest in addiction and related problems, he has done a significant part of his scientific research in this field since the first days he started working as a research assistant. At the same time,  Prof. Dr. Serdar Nurmedov, who has completed many trainings in this field in Turkey and abroad, has been an observer in psychiatry and addiction rehabilitation centers in many countries including the United States of America, the Netherlands and the Russian Federation.

Prof. Dr. Serdar Nurmedov, who did his specialty thesis on "Alcohol Addiction and Cognitive Functions", has nearly 50 scientific articles published in national and international journals, presentations in national and international congresses, awards, books and book chapters. His publications have received more than 1000 citations to date.

Currently,  Prof. Serdar Nurmedov, who continues to work as a lecturer at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, continues his research in the fields of General Psychiatry, Addiction, Neuroscience and Psychotherapy.

Dr. Nihal Tastekin is a psychiatrist. She completed her residency in 2020 at Istanbul Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital. She graduated from Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. Her thesis examined the clinical and cognitive effects of a computer-assisted cognitive improvement method in people with opioid use disorder.

She completed her state service at Bolu İzzet Baysal Mental Health and Diseases Hospital from October 2020 to June 2022. She provided AMATEM outpatient and inpatient care from April 2021 to June 2022. She has worked at the NP Istanbul Brain Hospital AMATEM clinic since June 2022.

Professional interests include addiction, anxiety disorders, cognitive remediation, dynamic psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Psikiyatri Uzmanı (2010). Gazi Üniversitesi Nörobilim doktorası (2017). 2007’de Deney Hayvanları Kullanma Sertifikası aldı. Kemirgenlerde psikiyatrik hastalık modelleri, psikofarmakoloji ve davranışsal ile immünohistokimyasal analizler üzerine çalıştı. İlgi alanları şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluklar, bağımlılık ve psikofarmakolojidir.

Yerli ve yabancı dergilerde yayınları vardır. Biri ulusal, biri uluslararası olmak üzere iki kitap bölümünün yazarıdır. Bir ulusal ve bir uluslararası poster ödülü sahibidir. Yürütücüsü olduğu bir ve araştırmacısı olduğu bir TÜBİTAK‑3001 projesini tamamladı. Klinik Psikiyatri Dergisi’nin (2010‑) ve The Journal of Neurobehavioral Sciences’ın (2015‑) yayın kurulu üyesidir. TTB ve Türkiye Psikiyatri Derneği üyesidir. NPFUAM Yönetim Kurulu üyesidir. TPD Nörobilim ile Psikofarmakoloji ve Somatik Sağaltımlar Çalışma Birimleri’nde görev yapmaktadır.

Dr Erdem Gelegen is an ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in cataract, refractive, retinal, glaucoma, and corneal/anterior segment care.
