Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref Başal was born in 1971 in Kırıkkale and completed

his primary and secondary education in Kırıkkale. In 1984, he entered

Maltepe Military High School and graduated in 1988. He continued his

medical education at GATA Military Medical Faculty between 1988-1994

and graduated in 1994.

Following his graduation, he completed his internship at GATA Training Hospital in 1994-1995. He

served as chief infirmary physician at Siirt Gendarmerie Regional Command in 1995-1996 and Batman

Gendarmerie Regional Command in 1996-1997. Between November 2010 and November 2011, he

worked as a clinical fellow in Uro-oncology and received urologic robotic surgery training at Colombia

University Cancer Center in New York, United States of America. In October 2011, he completed his

training at Hackensack University Medical Center daVinci Training Center in the United States and

received the “Console Surgeon” certificate in robotic surgery.

In 2013, he was appointed as Associate Professor at Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital

Urology Clinic and between September 2016 and October 2017, he continued this duty at SBU Sultan

Abdülhamit Han Training and Research Hospital Urology Clinic and worked as a docent faculty

member in SBU Urology Department. Between October 2017 and December 2018, he served as the

education officer at SBU Haseki Training and Research Hospital.

In July 2021, he retired as an Associate Professor at SBU Urology Department. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref

Başal, who has trained many experts and academicians in the field of urology, has many articles in

national and international journals in his field, has advanced surgical experience in his field, has

performed numerous surgeries related to his subject, has organized courses on this subject and has

participated in many courses as an instructor.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref Başal is fluent in English and thus able to communicate effectively in the

international medical environment.

Dr. Akif Nuri Doğan is an internal medicine specialist. He graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 2002. He completed his residency at Bezm-i Alem Vakıf Gureba Teaching and Research Hospital in 2008.

He works at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental. He provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for internal diseases. His main areas of focus are obesity, reflux, hypertension, diabetes, and chronic fatigue.

Dr. Doğan has gained experience at Elazig Military Hospital, Antalya Training and Research Hospital, and Akseki State Hospital. He is known for his evidence-based approach and dedication to patient care.

Dr. Mehmet Saygı is a board-certified cardiologist. He specializes in coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart valve diseases, hypertension, and arrhythmias. He earned his medical degree from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. He completed his cardiology training at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 2019.

Dr. Saygı has performed more than 2,500 coronary angiographies. He has also completed over 300 stent and balloon procedures. Prof. Mustafa Sağlam, M.D. graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine in 1994 and has specialized in Endovascular Repair of the Aneurysm of Abdominal Aorta, Stress Test for imaging the Coronary Artery Diseases, Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring, Holter Test, Balloon Valvuloplasty and Temporary Pacemaker. He is currently the Head of the Cardiology Department in Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.

Dr. Zuhal Tanzer is a specialist in Internal Diseases. She is known for her skill in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions. Accepting patients in the Urology medical unit of Florya Hospital, Prof. Dr. Semih Ayan completed his education at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and received the title of Urology Specialist. In 1999, he became a Postdoctoral Fellow in Pediatric Urology at Harvard University; He became Associate Professor of Urology in 2003 and Professor of Urology in 2009. In 2015, he completed his Minimal Invasive Urological Oncology (Clinical Fellow) studies at the University of Chicago and crowned his professional education and experience with international studies.

In the field of Urological Oncology, which is one of the physician's areas of interest, surgical treatment of prostate cancer, bladder cancer and kidney tumors provides a significant increase in the survival rate and the chance of surviving cancer. In the field of Pediatric Urology, which is another area of interest, congenital anomalies such as renal outflow stenosis, urinary reflux to the kidney and hypospadias are corrected by using innovative surgical applications and a lifelong contribution is provided to the patients.
