Biography
Ahmet Köybaşıoğlu is a Professor and Doctor who was born in 1958. He entered Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1975 and completed his education, graduating in 1981. He completed his specialization in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine between 1982-1986.

While working as an ENT specialist at Ankara Dışkapı SSK Hospital, he also worked at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Cancer Research Center in the Netherlands. In 1997, he became an associate professor in the ENT Head and Neck Surgery department at Gazi University, and in 2003, he became a full professor.

In 1998, he worked on cases with his American colleagues at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in the United States. He conducted academic research for 16 years from 1996-2012, focusing on head and neck tumors. He also deepened his academic research in laryngology, which includes vocal cord and voice disorders.

He specialized in voice hoarseness, snoring, respiratory problems, dizziness, as well as nodules, polyps and vocal cord cysts in the larynx. His medical interests also include pediatric ENT diseases such as tonsillitis, adenoids, fluid accumulation in the ear, and congenital neck cysts.

He conducted academic research and publications on tumors and cancer diseases that occur in the mouth, nose, tongue, jaw, throat, and skin areas in the head and neck region. These diseases are his primary medical interest areas.

Dr. Abdulkadir Özgür is a Professor of Otorhinolaryngology. He has broad experience in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgery. He received his medical degree from Ondokuz Mayis University in 2003. He completed his specialty training at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2009. He became an Associate Professor in 2017 and a Professor in 2023.

Dr. Özgür has worked at several respected institutions. These include Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital and Health Sciences University Samsun Training and Research Hospital. His main clinical interests are cochlear implants, endoscopic ear surgery, otosclerosis, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, hearing loss, vertigo, and head and neck tumors.

He has published many articles in international journals. His research covers endoscopic ear surgery, vestibular diagnostics, and the auditory system. Dr. Özgür is known for improving surgical techniques and diagnostics in otolaryngology.

He was born in France in 1969. After graduating from İzmir Müdafaai Hukuk Primary School and Bornova Anatolian High School, he entered Ege University Faculty of Medicine. After completing his specialization at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, he worked as Op.Dr. Together with Denizhan Özkaya, he founded ENTO Ear, Nose and Throat in Alsancak.

Op.Dr., who worked as a visiting doctor at the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic of the University of Vienna, Austria, in 1998. Ümit Filiz speaks English and German.

He is a member of the Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head and Neck Surgery Association, the Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head and Neck Surgery Foundation, the Turkish ENT Facial Plastic Surgery Working Group, the Turkish Sleep Research Association and the European Sleep Research Association Aviation Medical Association.

Prof. Dr. Ali Vefa YÜCETÜRK was born in Aydın in 1963. He graduated from Hakimiyetimilliye Primary School in 1974, Izmir Private Turkish High School in 1980, and graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1986.

After completing his compulsory service at Adıyaman's Çelikhan District Health Center in 1986-89, he specialized in Ear Nose and Throat Diseases at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine between 1989-92 and worked in the same clinic as a specialist until 1994. KKK in 1993. He did his military service at Izmir Military Hospital.

He started working as an ENT faculty member at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine in 1994, and became an associate professor in 1999 and a professor in 2005.

In 1996, he carried out studies and research on larynx and parotid surgery at the ENT Clinic of the University of Ferrara, Italy, with Prof. Dr. Carlo Calearo and Prof. Dr. Antonio Pastore.

He is a member of the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association and the Laryngology Association.

He supervised four theses on laryngeal cancer, inner ear hearing loss and snoring-sleep apnea.

He participated in more than 40 congresses, courses and meetings at home and abroad as a speaker and participant.

Dr. Sezgin Bekdemir is a distinguished Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist based in İzmir, Turkey. Born in 1974 in Bulancak, Giresun, he completed his secondary education in Giresun before enrolling at the 19 May University Medical Faculty in Samsun in 1992. In 2000, he pursued specialization in ENT at Erzurum Atatürk University Medical Faculty, completing his residency in 2004.

Following his specialization, Dr. Bekdemir served at Otlu Government Hospital and Erzurum Numune Hospital. In 2005, he began working at Erzurum Private Recovery Hospital.

Currently, Dr. Bekdemir practices at the ENTO ENT Surgical Medical Center in Bornova, İzmir. In 1980 he finished Hacettepe University Eskisehir Medial Faculty. In 1984 he got his career education in the department of ENT in Hacettepe University Medical Center. He served his military service in Ankara Mevki Hastanesi as an ENT Specialist, in 1986 he began his conscription in state of Ordu Government Hospital.

He worked in Izmir Atatürk Education and Research Hospital as chief intern in 1989, as a chef assistant in 1991, as an instructor in 1994 and worked there till June 2008. On June 20088, he worked in Namik Kemal University Medical Faculty in head of the department of ENT, Head of Department of Surgical Medical and worked as a Medical Faculty member of University Senate finally, he resigned on August in 2010.

Associate Prof. Çağlar Çallı is an experienced ENT specialist. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine. In 2009, he received the Turkish ENT Association Thyroid Surgery and Diseases Scholarship. This allowed him to study head and neck tumors and thyroid surgery at Ohio State University in the USA.

In 2011, he was awarded the Turkish ENT Foundation Scholarship. He focused on facial plastic surgery, snoring surgery, and endoscopic sinus surgery at New York St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. Dr. Çallı became an Associate Professor in 2012. He has published over 80 articles and book chapters. He has also presented his work at international conferences. His main areas of expertise are head and neck tumors, thyroid surgery, rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, and ear microsurgery.

After graduating from Fırat University Faculty of Medicine in 2008, he worked as a physician in Şırnak Silopi Health Center No. 3 for 2 years. In 2011, he started his specialization in Manisa Celal Bayar University, Otorhinolaryngology.

He completed his specialization in ENT Diseases Specialization in 2016. In 2016, he succeeded in the written and oral exams organized by the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association and was entitled to receive a Certificate of Proficiency.
