Dr. Ahmet Ziya Balta is a General Surgery Specialist with 23 years of experience. He has served as Infirmary Chief Surgeon and Deputy Chief Doctor. He is now an Associate Professor at SBU Hamidiye Medicine Faculty, General Surgery Department.

Dr. Balta has worked in both military and civilian healthcare. He served at Şırnak Military Hospital and GMMA Haydarpaşa Teaching Hospital. He is known for his skills in general surgery and his leadership in surgical departments. His career shows strong achievements in both clinical practice and academic medicine.

Dr. Specialist Surgeon Rafail Ibayev is an expert in advanced gastrointestinal surgery. He specializes in both laparoscopic and open procedures for diseases of the stomach, intestine, and rectum. Dr. Ibayev is a recognized leader in obesity and metabolic surgery. He has extensive experience in sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric balloon procedures. Dr. Ibayev is known for his work in minimally invasive surgery. He performs a wide range of laparoscopic operations that help patients recover faster and with less scarring. Dr. Abdulkadir Bedirli completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1988. He became a General Surgeon in 1997 and was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He became a Professor in 2010.

In 2011, Dr. Bedirli completed the Robotic Surgery Certification Program in Strasbourg and became a console surgeon. He performed his first robotic surgery in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University in the same year. Since then, he has successfully applied robotic surgery to over 1500 patients, mostly for obesity, stomach cancer, and colon-rectum cancers.

In 2012, Dr. Bedirli became a Surgical Oncology Specialist and participated in training programs on Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in Paris-France in 2014 and in Lyon-France in 2016. In 2018, he completed the Gastric Cancer Master Class program at Severance Hospital in Seoul-South Korea, and in 2019, he participated in the Bariatric Redo Surgery training program in Bruges-Belgium.

Dr. Bedirli was awarded the F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) title by the American College of Surgeons in 2018. He has published 61 international and 47 national papers, presented 87 papers at international conferences and 68 papers at national conferences, contributed to 7 book chapters, and served as an editor for one book. Dr. Bedirli has an H-index of 18, with 1064 citations to his 72 publications.

Dr. Ogun Ersen is a skilled Surgical Oncologist. He earned his medical degree from Karadeniz Technical University (2005-2011). He then completed his specialization at Kocatepe University (2013-2018). In 2018, he ranked third in the national minor medical specialization exam and passed the Turkish Surgical Society board.

Dr. Ersen received advanced training in surgical oncology at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine (2018-2021). He earned the title of Surgical Oncologist after this training. His career reflects his strong expertise and commitment to surgical oncology.

Dr. Cüneyt Çiftdoğan was born in Ankara in 1971. After completing primary school in Gaziantep, he settled in Izmir and completed his secondary and high school education in Izmir. In the last years of his high school education, with his passion for white coats, he took the university exam and was accepted to Ege University Faculty of Medicine.

Cüneyt Çiftdoğan, who started his medical education at Ege University in 1988, graduated as a medical doctor in 1994 after an intensive and successful medical education. Cüneyt Çiftdoğan, who passed the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) in 1997 and started his specialization training in the Department of General Surgery at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine, took part in many successful operations until 2002 and had serious experience in the branch of general surgery. After his specialist training, Op. Dr. He was entitled to receive the title.

Dr. Cüneyt Çiftdoğan has been working as a General Surgery Specialist since 2002. He has equipped his professional skills and abilities with technological developments by working in many public and private hospitals.

Dr. Ersin Öztürk, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine and an expert in General Surgery.
