She earned his medical degree and board certification of neurology from the most prestigious university in Iran, Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Further, she pursued advanced training through a fellowship in headache disorders at the Danish Headache Centre, University of Copenhagen, under the supervision of Professor Jes Olesen, who is well-known as the godfather of the headache around the world. She also attended a two years mastership program of headache disorders at the University of Copenhagen.
