Dr. Osama is a Consultant Paediatrician with over 40 years of experience in his field. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Baghdad, College of Medicine and completed his residency in Paediatrics. Since then, he has accumulated a wealth of experience as a Paediatrician, first in Iraq as Resident Physician and Paediatrician with some of the country’s top teaching hospitals.

After receiving his Board certification he practiced Paediatrics in Iraq, then in Jordan as Attendant Physician and Consultant Paediatrician. He began working in the UAE in 1999, practicing in both General Paediatrics as well as Neonatal & Paediatric intensive care.

Dr Osama brings a vast knowledge and expertise gained from enrollment in specialty training courses and clinical programs at some of the world’s most renowned hospitals and institutions, including in the UK and the Hospital for Sick Children in Canada.

For the last 15 years, he worked as Consultant Paediatrician and Department Head at Baraha Hospital in Dubai, where he was responsible for Inpatient care at the Paediatric & Neonatal Intensive Care, and Outpatient care at the hospital’s Paediatric unit.

Dr Osama specialises in General Paediatric problems and infections, Paediatric Respiratory problems and Paediatric GI tract & Urinary Tract problems. He is also focused on preventative healthcare issues and is a US certified International Lactation Consultant, since 2002. He has been heavily involved in Medical education programs and from 2008 to 2014 served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Sharjah, College of Medicine, and Department of Paediatrics. In this role, he supervised upper year Medical students and integrated their transition into Medical practice in a hospital setting.

Born in 1973 in Ankara, Dr. Emel Torun completed high school at TED Ankara College and entered Istanbul University Faculty of Medicinein 1992 . In 1998, she started her residency in Pediatrics at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and became a specialist in Pediatrics in 2003. After about 10 years of private hospital experience, he started to work as a Specialist Lecturer and then as an Assistant Professor in Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics in 2010. Assoc. Dr. and in 2015, he passed the Associate Professorship exam and received the title of Assoc. He received the title of Associate Professor. Dr. Sertac Cicek is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon with over 40 years of medical experience. He has spent more than 30 years specializing in cardiac surgery, focusing on complex congenital and pediatric heart procedures. He trained at leading centers worldwide and completed fellowships at Texas Heart Institute, Mayo Clinic, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This combination of fellowships is rare in the field.

Dr. Cicek is the Chief of Pediatric and Adult Cardiovascular Surgery at Liv Hospital Vadistanbul. He leads advanced surgical programs and performs specialized operations, including Ozaki aortic valve reconstructions, Ebstein anomaly repairs, and minimally invasive heart surgeries. He is also a pioneer in hybrid coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).

Dr. Cicek holds ECFMG certification and active medical licenses in Turkey, Minnesota, and West Virginia. He has received several awards, such as the GATA 100th Anniversary Scientific Achievement Award and a Presidential Citation from the Asian Society for Cardiovascular Surgery. He is a founding member of the World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery and has been listed in Who’s Who in Medicine & Healthcare for 20 years.

Dr. Selami Bayrakdar is a pediatrician who cares for infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 18 years. He has experience in treating loss of appetite, growth and developmental delays, constipation, reflux, and infantile colic. He also provides breastfeeding and nutrition counseling.

He completed his medical training at Erciyes University and Yeditepe University Faculties of Medicine. Dr. Bayrakdar has worked at several leading hospitals, including Liv Hospital Vadi Istanbul, Memorial Service Hospital, Memorial Atasehir Hospital, Academic Hospital, and Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital.

His research focuses on hyperglycemia in children and monitoring Type 1 diabetes in primary care. Dr. Bayrakdar has published work in the Journal of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism on circulating miRNAs and leptin resistance in obese children.

Dr. Binnur Simsek is a gastroenterology specialist. She has experience in liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, and viral hepatitis (B, C, Delta). She also treats alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s colitis.

She completed her medical and gastroenterology training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Simsek has worked at Istanbul University, Sanlıurfa Education and Research Hospital, Liv Hospital, and Istinye University. She is a member of the Turkish Association for the Study of the Liver and the Turkish Society of Gastroenterology.
