Dr. Jose Horacio Cano Cervantes is a Medical Surgeon who graduated with honors from the Autonomous University of Chiapas, Mexico. He is a certified specialist in Nephrology by the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

He received advanced training in Transplant Nephrology at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition "Salvador Zubirán." He also trained at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation in Madrid, Spain.
