- Dr. Carlos Torrecilla Ortiz is responsible for the introduction of Shock Wave Lithotripsy as the first public machine in Catalonia in 1988.In addition to developing all urological pathologies during his medical practice, he has made a super-specialization in the integral treatment of lithiasis that has led him to currently be the Coordinator Lithiasis National of the Spanish Association of Urology.
