Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Aytekin is a Clinical Biochemist and Molecular Medicine specialist. He holds an adjunct position at the Cleveland Clinic, USA. He also serves as Associate Professor at Erciyes University, Turkey. Dr. Aytekin is Vice President of the Genome and Stem Cell Center (GENKÖK). He played a key role in establishing one of Turkey’s largest stem cell centers.
Dr. Aytekin has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles. His research focuses on pulmonary hypertension, lung diseases, coronary atherosclerosis, and cardiotoxicity. He has received several awards, including the American Heart Association Postdoctoral Training Award and institutional honors for research and publication quality. His work has contributed to advances in biomarker discovery and molecular diagnostics for cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases.
Prof. Dr. Fatih Kurtuluş is a leading urologist and a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU). He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He specializes in endourology and urooncology. He received advanced training at IRCAD Strasbourg and gained international experience at Heidelberg University and Milan San Raffaele IRCCS Hospital.
He became a professor in 2018. He has received several awards, including the 2015 Urooncology Research Award. He also won best oral presentation at the AUA Congress in 2008 and the EAU Congress in 2009. Dr. Kurtuluş has published widely in international journals. He is an active member of the EAU, Endourological Society, Turkish Association of Urology, and Urooncology Association.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkam Kömürcü is an experienced orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in orthopedics and traumatology. He has been board-certified by the Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (TOTEK) since 2010. He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2015.
Dr. Kömürcü has strong expertise in hand and upper extremity injuries, spine surgery, sports injuries, pediatric orthopedics, and musculoskeletal tumors. He completed clinical fellowships, including one at the UCLA Spine Center. He has published over 35 international peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His work has made a significant impact on orthopedic literature.
He is an active member of several professional societies, such as the Turkish Spine Society and the Turkish Society of Sports Injuries. Dr. Kömürcü has also held important academic and administrative positions. He has trained many medical students and residents.
