Dr. Vafi Atalay is an experienced oncological and general surgeon with 17 years in the field. He specializes in pancreatic, colon, rectal, and liver surgeries. He received the first prize at the 20th Congress Research Paper Competition. He also won the Best Research Award at the 5th Surgeon Research Congress. After graduating from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2000, he  

completed his specialization in Gynecology & Obstetrics at Başkent University Faculty of  

Medicine in 2006. He completed his compulsory state service in Nevşehir Ürgüp for 1year

and his military service in Edremit Military Hospital for 1 year. In 2009, he worked as a  

clinical observer in Israel Tel Aviv Chaim Seba Medical Center for 4 months. Between 2009-

2015, he worked as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist at Adana Başkent Hospital.  

Between 2015-2018, he received specialization training in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at  

Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. During his training, he worked as a clinical observer  

for 2 months in the gynecological oncology center of Charite University Berlin, Germany.  

After completing his subspeciality training, he successfully passed the European Society of  

Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO) exam in Athens in 2019. Between July 2018 and October 2024,  

he worked as a gynecologic oncology surgery specialist at Health Sciences University  

Umraniye Training and Research Hospital. During this period, he completed the DaVinci

Dr. Sedat Karademir is a general surgeon focused on hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery and liver transplantation. Since 2024, he has been a general surgery specialist and department coordinator at Anadolu Medical Centre Hospital. He previously led Organ Transplantation and HPB Surgery at Ankara Güven Hospital.

He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine (1979–1985). He completed his residency at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital (1988–1993). He trained in organ transplantation as a clinical fellow at Rush-Presbyterian–St. Luke’s in Chicago (1994–1997). He also worked as a researcher with the UCLA Liver Transplant Program.

He served as associate professor and later professor of general surgery at Dokuz Eylul University. He was on the faculty of its Liver Transplantation and HPB Surgical Unit. His memberships include the Turkish Surgical Society, Turkish HPB Surgery Society, Liver Transplantation Society, IHPBA, and ELTR.

Dr. Gokhan Yilmaz is an experienced general surgeon with nearly 20 years in medical practice. He is known for his skill in complex surgical procedures. Dr. Yahya Özel is a highly experienced general surgeon with expertise in bariatric surgery, hepatobiliary diseases, abdominal hernias, endocrine surgery, and oncological surgery. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1990 and pursued his specialization in General Surgery at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital between 2001 and 2006.
