Dr. Baris Metin is an experienced Neurologist with over 7 years of experience in Turkey and Belgium. He specializes in Memory Disorders, Functional Neuroimaging, Epilepsy, Electroencephalography, Headaches and Sleep Disorders, and has numerous research papers in national and international scientific journals.

Dr. Suleyman Hilmi Aksoy was born in 1974. He graduated from Istanbul University Çapa School of Medicine in 1998. He completed his residency in Radiodiagnostics and Interventional Radiology at Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 2002.

She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 2002. She completed her neurology residency at Okmeydanı Teaching and Research Hospital in 2008. Dr. Tokmak also holds a master’s degree in Electrophysiology from Istanbul University.

She has extensive experience in EMG, EEG, and PSG. Her main clinical interests are dementia, headache, and vertigo. Dr. Tokmak has contributed to many studies in these fields. She has worked at Ağrı State Hospital Neurology Clinic, Hisar Intercontinental Hospital, and Medical Park Hospitals.

Dr. Sinan Çomu is a Turkish neurologist with 20+ years of experience treating movement, behavioral, genetic, metabolic, epilepsy, headache, and developmental delay disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. He received his medical degree from Istanbul University and specialty training in pediatrics, children’s neurology and American treatment approaches from Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, the University of Pittsburgh, and Memorial Şişli Hospital. He is a member of the Turkish Neurological Society and the Child Neurology Society.

In 2016, she completed her specialty training at Çukurova University Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health and Diseases with herthesis on "Intergenerational Effect of Trauma in Children and Adolescents with Anxiety Disorder" and became a Child Psychiatry specialist in 2020. He was born in 1977 in Edirne/Keşan. He graduated from Kuleli Military High School in 1995 and GATA Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He worked as a general practitioner in Kütahya between 2001-2004. He completed his psychiatry specialty training at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital between 2004-2008. He worked as a psychiatry specialist at Gümüşsuyu Military Hospital Balmumcu Dispensary between 2008 and 2012 and at Diyarbakır Military Hospital between 2012 and 2013. In 2013, he voluntarily left his duty in TAF and started working at Neuropsychiatry Istanbul Hospital.

He did his thesis on "The Relationship between Temperament and Character Traits and Decision Making Processes in Patients with Antisocial Personality Disorder". She completed her training in 'Cognitive Behavioral Therapy', 'Hypnotherapy' and 'Sexual Dysfunctions'. She is interested in mood disorders, addiction, sexual dysfunctions and cognitive behavioral therapies.

Born in 1976 in Dashoguz, Turkmenistan,  Prof. Serdar Nurmedov graduated from Trabzon Kanuni Anatolian High School in 1996 and Karadeniz Technical University in 2002. In the same year, he started working as a research assistant at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and became a Psychiatry Specialist in 2009. After becoming a specialist, he worked at NPISTANBUL hospital until 2015 and during this time he took an active role in the establishment of Turkey's first private Addiction Treatment Center. Between 2015 and 2023, he held various positions in Acıbadem Health Group and received the title of Associate Professor in Psychiatry in 2019.

Since the most important factor in his choice of psychiatry is his interest in addiction and related problems, he has done a significant part of his scientific research in this field since the first days he started working as a research assistant. At the same time,  Prof. Dr. Serdar Nurmedov, who has completed many trainings in this field in Turkey and abroad, has been an observer in psychiatry and addiction rehabilitation centers in many countries including the United States of America, the Netherlands and the Russian Federation.

Prof. Dr. Serdar Nurmedov, who did his specialty thesis on "Alcohol Addiction and Cognitive Functions", has nearly 50 scientific articles published in national and international journals, presentations in national and international congresses, awards, books and book chapters. His publications have received more than 1000 citations to date.

Currently,  Prof. Serdar Nurmedov, who continues to work as a lecturer at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, continues his research in the fields of General Psychiatry, Addiction, Neuroscience and Psychotherapy.

She graduated from Ankara Başkent High School in 1992 and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. She completed her specialty training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and became a psychiatry specialist in 2005.

Dr. Ceylan Sengul is a child development specialist who works with children aged 0-6 years. She has strong experience with developmental issues such as learning difficulties, ADHD, speech delays, and delayed toilet training. She also helps children with aggressive behaviors, eating disorders, depression, social phobia, panic attacks, addictions, and psychosomatic symptoms.

Dr. Sengul is known for treating school problems, trauma, sibling rivalry, low self-confidence, mood disorders, gender identity concerns, urinary incontinence, and body image issues. She uses evidence-based methods and has helped many children and families achieve better outcomes.

Assoc. Prof.  Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz graduated from Hacettepe University in 2000 as a Medical Doctor.  She completed her specialty training in the Department of Neurology at Ankara University in 2006.

She started her compulsory service in Mardin Nusaybin State Hospital in 2007.  Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz continued her duty in Gaziantep 27 December State Hospital in 2008.  She worked as a neurologist at Biophysis Nilüfer Medical Center and Ali Osman Sönmez Oncology Hospital in Bursa between 2010-2011, and at Istanbul Universal Aksaray Hospital between 2011-2012. From October 2012, she started to work as a Doctor Lecturer in Istanbul Medipol University Neurology Department.  Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz received the title of associate professor in 2021.  In 2015, she worked as an Honorary Observer in Parkinson's Disease and Deep Brain Stimulation (Neuromodulation) at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, National Hospital for Neurology in London.  She took part in many training programs on Deep Brain Stimulation (Neuromodulation) in Turkey and abroad between 2013-2022.

Regarding her speciality in Parkinson's disease and movement disorders, she has 5 Tubitak projects, a 2-chapter book , 30 clinical researches and 80 reports presented in domestic and abroad. Assoc. Prof. Nesrin Helvacı Yılmaz, who is still working within the staff of Medipol University, managed the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Unit of the Department of Neurology during her working time and plans Deep Brain Stimulation therapy applications with the neurosurgical team.

Since September 2018, she has been working as a coordinator for student education in the 5th semester of Neurology. As of December 2022, she has developed treatment plans for patients at Medipol University Istanbul Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER) and provides the most appropriate personal medical follow-up and treatment support for each patient.
