Prof. Dr. Sezer Sağlam is a medical oncologist at Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale Hospital. He specializes in gastrointestinal and breast cancers. He has contributed to cancer care through research, especially with his study on the best timing for surgery after neoadjuvant therapy in rectal cancer. This work has influenced global treatment protocols.

Dr. Sağlam has led clinical trials in targeted therapies and precision medicine. His research on liver-transplanted patients with hepatocellular carcinoma was nominated for the 2024 International Best Researcher Award. He is a member of ASCO, ESMO, and ENET. Dr. Eymen Gazel is a leading uro-oncology specialist. He is known for advanced surgical treatment of prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers. Dr. Gazel specializes in minimally invasive, robot-assisted, and laparoscopic surgeries. These techniques help patients recover faster and achieve better outcomes.

Dr. Gazel is a pioneer in laser prostate surgery. He performs advanced HoLEP and ThuFLEP procedures, which set new standards for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He is also an expert in stone disease. Dr. Gazel uses modern endourology methods to treat complex urinary tract stones without open surgery.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenk Acar completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and his urology residency at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology. He worked as an assistant professor at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology between June 2009 and November 2012. Between May 2012 and November 2012, he worked as a fellow in robotic and laparoscopic surgery in urologic cancers for 6 months in the Urology Department of “The Netherland Cancer Institute-AVL hospital”. He started to work at Acıbadem Ankara Hospital in November 2012. In September 2014, he completed the necessary academic qualifications and received the title of “Associate Professor”. After working in a private hospital in Ankara between 2015-2020, he continued his services in his private practice in Ankara until 2020 when he started Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

In 2015, he was the chairman of the organizing committee of the first course on ‘Fluorescence Imaging in Urological Surgery’ in the field of urology in Turkey. In the following years, he chaired many urology and multidisciplinary courses on ICG fluorescence imaging under the umbrella of Urology Associations. In 2017, for the first time in Turkey, he started to apply Bipolar Prostate Enucleation in benign prostate enlargement in his clinic. Later, he started to use his increasing experience in surgeries such as HOLEP and THUFLEP.

In his career, Dr. Acar, who is especially interested in Urological Cancers, Urinary System Stones, HOLEP, THUFLEP, Endourology, and Robotic and Laparoscopic Urological Surgeries, has carried out many successful operations. He has performed over 500 urological cancer surgeries, over 250 HOLEP surgeries, countless endoscopic stone surgeries, and numerous robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.

As a urology specialist providing medical services, Prof. Dr. Hasan Biri graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. He started his residency in urology at Gazi University Hospital in 1987 and completed his specialization in 1992, becoming a urology specialist. Dr. Biri completed his compulsory service between 1993-1995. In 1995, he was appointed as an assistant professor at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. Between 1997-1998, he participated in research in many areas of uro-oncology such as radical prostatectomy and radical cystectomy at the University of Southern California Kneed Norris Uro-oncology Center, and was involved in many clinical practices. He successfully passed the associate professorship exam in 1998 and continued his education and training activities as an associate professor at Gazi University. Between 2000-2003, he served as the head of urology and chief physician at Gazi Ankara Hospital. In 2004, he became a professor at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine.
