Our Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgeon Gülsüm Coşkun completed her undergraduate education in 2009; She completed her specialization training in 2016. Prof. Dr. Bedia Defne Keçik is an experienced orthodontist and the Head of the Department of Orthodontics at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital. She completed her specialty training and doctorate in Orthodontics at Hacettepe University. Dr. Keçik has more than 20 years of academic and clinical experience.

She has made important contributions to orthodontic research and education. She served for ten years on the Editorial Board of the Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry Journal. Her areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of skeletal and dental malocclusions, interdisciplinary orthodontic planning, craniofacial growth, and orthodontic biomechanics.

Dr. Keçik is active in both national and international orthodontic associations. She regularly participates in scientific congresses and postgraduate training. At Başkent University, she supervises clinical training and research.
