Dr. Florian Fitzal is a senior physician at Vienna General Hospital and Vienna Medical University. He specializes in breast and abdominal surgery. He is a certified surgeon and holds a Master of Public Health (MBA). Dr. Fitzal leads the Breast Health Center. He also serves as Scientific Director of the Surgical Center of the Breast.

He is an auditor for the European Council of Surgeons. He is also a board member of the Austrian Breast Cancer and Colorectal Cancer Research Group. Dr. Fitzal has published over 143 scientific papers and has an h-index of 24. He has written four books on breast cancer surgery.
