Dr. Lara is a passionate Honduran-born medical doctor with a Mexican heart. She earned her MD at the Catholic University of Honduras and has an Obesity Medicine post-graduate degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She continued into a Masters in Applied Nutrition with a focus on research at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City where her commitment to staying up-to-date and her passion for evidence-based medicine grew fonder.

She is member of the International Society for Stem Cell Application, SCOPE certified by the World Obesity Federation, and certified for Sport’s and Exercise Nutrition.

Besides her clinical experience within multiple hospital ER’s and private practice, Dr. Lara has vast experience within the Regenerative Medicine area, where her biggest determination is to positively impact lives of her patients. She has also experience in administrative areas within Mexico, where besides overseeing treatments, she is up-to-date with Mexican regulatory laws (COFEPRIS). Prof. Dr. Kamil Yalçın Polat is a leading transplantology expert and Head of the Organ Transplantation Center at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul. With over 30 years of surgical experience, he founded the Organ Transplantation Center at Atatürk University (2003-2010) and completed fellowships at Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Polat has authored more than 50 scientific publications and serves as Vice President of the Turkish Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Society.

Dr. Bülent Ünal is a general surgeon and surgical oncologist. He is Head of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Çukurova University in 1996. He completed his general surgery residency at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2001. He finished a minor specialization in surgical oncology at İnönü University in 2012.

In 2008, he was an NCI Short-Term Scientist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 10 months. He trained in sentinel node techniques and ductoscopy. In 2010, he completed transplantation and oncology training at the University of Giessen and Marburg. He has many international publications and book chapters. His co-authored series include 128 living-donor liver recipients, 26 Fournier gangrene cases, and 18 diaphragmatic injuries.

He serves on the Board of the Surgical Oncology Association. He is also a member of several Turkish and international surgical societies.

Prof. Abuzer Dirican is a Professor of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology and Head of Department at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. He completed his general surgery training at SSK Ankara in 2000. He served at İnönü University’s Liver Transplant Institute and became a professor in 2017. He also completed a clinical and research fellowship in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.

He authored the Liver Transplantation chapter in Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery in 2016. His publications cover cholangiocarcinoma, liver transplantation, endocrine surgery, and colorectal surgery. Notable work includes a prospective randomized trial on pilonidal disease and studies on breast cancer–related lymphedema. He also co-authored analyses of 304 living-donor liver transplants and 109 hepatic vein reconstructions.

Dr. Umit Naci Karacal is a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He currently practices at Memorial Ankara Hospital. He has held faculty positions at Izmir Bakirçay University Faculty of Medicine and Black Sea Technical University. From 2001 to 2023, he advanced from Associate Professor to Professor at these institutions.

Dr. Nutt Chawalitkul is a medical doctor who specializes in preventive medicine, sexual medicine, clinical sexology, and anti-aging medicine. He earned his diplomas from Thammasat University and is certified by the Thai Medical Council. He was awarded the title of General Surgery Specialist after completing his general surgery specialization in Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in the year 2008. 

He went to Scotland 2 times in the years 2006-2007 and received advanced laparoscopic education. He awarded with ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey in the year 2009 for his contributions to the establishment of Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital Burn Center and for his related works. 

After completing his compulsory service at Kastamonu İnebolu State Hospital between the years 2009-2011, resigned from his duty at the state owned institutions, returned to Istanbul and started to work in private sector. He has been working as kidney transplant and general surgery specialist in Florence Nightingale group of hospitals since the year 2013. Since the year 2017, he has been serving as academic Doctor Lecturer in Faculty of Medicine of Demiroğlu Science University. He has more than 20 articles published in national and international journals in general surgery and kidney transplant and more than 30 proceedings that are submitted in national and international congresses.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saydam Mehmet is a general surgeon at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital (2025–present). His work covers oncologic, endocrine, and metabolic surgery. He performs laparoscopic surgery, including hernia repair and anti-reflux procedures. He also treats morbid obesity and type 2 diabetes. Sleeve gastrectomy is among his key procedures.
