Dr. Gokay Gunay is an ophthalmologist. He trained at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1991–1997) and at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Eye Diseases (1997–2001).

He holds an MSc in Biological Data Science (GPA 3.94/4.00, top of term) and completed training in AI in Healthcare in 2020.
