Prof. Dr. Murat Demiroğlu has over 25 years of clinical and academic experience in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology. He specializes in hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, arthroplasty, orthopedic oncology, and trauma surgery.

He was born in Istanbul in 1971. He completed his elementary, middle, and high school education in Istanbul. In 1988, he was admitted to Istanbul University’s Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, where he began his medical education, and graduated with a medical degree in 1994.

Between 1994 and 1996, he fulfilled his mandatory service as a general practitioner in Artvin. In 1996, he passed the Medical Specialization Exam (TUS) and began his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology. In 2001, he completed his residency at Taksim Training and Research Hospital and earned the title of Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology.

Following his residency, he completed his mandatory service at Van State Hospital and subsequently worked at Beykoz State Hospital. He later worked as a founding specialist at the Hand Surgery Clinic of Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital, where he had the opportunity to work with many experienced surgeons in his field.

As part of his professional development, he served as an observer physician at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, USA. He later worked at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital and was appointed Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2018.

He retired in 2023 and began working at Florence Nightingale Ataşehir Hospital that same year. In 2024, he was appointed as a professor at Demiroğlu Science University after being promoted to the rank of professor.

After a brief stint at Mecidiyeköy Environmental Hospital, Prof. Dr. Murat Demiroğlu has been serving as a Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology at NPİSTANBUL Hospital since June 2026.

He is married and an avid animal lover.

Professor Liang Xiaoxiao is the Department Director and Chief Physician in Neurorehabilitation. She holds a master’s degree in neurology. She is skilled in neuromodulation for disorders of consciousness, cognition, and movement. Her focus includes cases from cerebrovascular disease, Parkinson’s disease, and related conditions. She also performs ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections for blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, limb spasticity, sialorrhea, and neuralgia.

Accreditations and roles: Member of the Neurorehabilitation, Cognitive Disorder Rehabilitation, and Craniocerebral Trauma Rehabilitation Committees of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. Standing Member of the Cognitive Disorder Rehabilitation Committee of the Fujian Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. Vice Chair of the Dementia and Cognitive Disorder Committee of the Xiamen Preventive Medicine Association. Vice President of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Committee of the Xiamen Medical Doctor Association. Standing Member of the Neuromodulation Committee of the Xiamen Medical Doctor Association. Recipient of the Most Beautiful Physician of Xiamen City (2024).

Dr. Siar Dursun is a pediatric neurologist at Medipol University Pendik Hospital in Istanbul. He specializes in treating complex neurological conditions in children, including epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Dr. Dursun completed his medical training at Adnan Menderes University and Izmir Research Hospital. He works at a university-affiliated center that serves 350,000 patients annually.
