Duties

• Performing routine and major Penile / Urethral Reconstruction as well as Core Urology procedures twice weekly at Victoria and Queen Margaret Hospitals (Green light prostatectomy, Urolift Service lead, Prostate template biopsies, General urology)

Dr. Antonio Alcaraz is a Spanish uro-oncologist and transplantologist with over 30 years of experience and 500 successful operations, specializing in the treatment of prostate cancer, kidney, bladder, and other urogenital system pathologies using minimally invasive and robotic systems, as well as congenital pathologies in children. He is a member of several prestigious urological societies.

Dr. Axel Stang is a professor, Head Physician of Asklepios Barmbek Clinic, with a specialization in internal medicine, oncology, and hematology. He conducts antibody and molecular therapies to reduce tumor size, and is a member of multiple organizations and societies. Dr. Stang has published articles on the effectiveness of radiofrequency ablation in treating of metastatic colon cancer, and was a member of a research group that studied the effects of liver embolization.
