Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suleyman Hilmi Ipekci, M.D., is an experienced endocrinologist. He specializes in diabetes, thyroid diseases, thyroid cancers, pituitary and adrenal gland disorders, and hormone imbalances. He graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 1999. He completed his internal medicine residency in 2005 and his endocrinology fellowship in 2010.

Dr. Ipekci became an Associate Professor in 2016. He has published 42 international scientific articles. His research has been cited 230 times. He has contributed to 8 national and international scientific projects, including 2 TUBITAK projects. He has received several awards for his scientific publications. Dr. Ipekci has also served as a referee for 65 articles. His work demonstrates his strong commitment to medical science.

Dr. Burak Kavlakogluu is a Professor who specializes in Obesity Surgery. He currently practices at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul. He has over 30 years of experience and has worked at leading hospitals, including Bahçeşehir International University, Medicine Hospital Istanbul, Kolan Hospital, and Mighty Hospital.

Dr. Kavlakogluu has served in key leadership positions, such as Chief Physician and Head of the General Surgery Department at several institutions. He completed his medical degree at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. He received his General Surgery Specialty Training at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kirdar Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Ozdenskaya has been practicing medicine since 1998, and has worked in several hospitals and clinics in the Istanbul area. Since 2012 he has been working as a general specialist in obesity surgery at Medipol Clinic, performing laparoscopic gastric sleeve resection, stomach resection with the da Vinci robot, gastric balloon and mini-gastric bypass operations.

İlk ve orta öğrenimini Antakya’da tamamladıktan sonra 1997 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’ne kabul edilerek Tıp eğitimine başladı. 2003 yılında Tıp fakültesinden mezun olduğu sene tıpta uzmanlık sınavını kazanarak Haydarpaşa Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde Genel Cerrahi asistanlığına başladı.

2008-2009 yıllarında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin Houston kentinde MD Anderson kanser merkezi’nde ve Memorial Herrman hastanelerinde kanser cerrahisi ve organ nakli konularında eğitim aldı. Türkiye’ye döndükten sonra 2009 yılında yapılan genel cerrahların katıldığı yan dal sınavında Türkiye birincisi oldu. Bu sınav başarısının peşinden 2009-2012 yılları arasında Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hastanesi’nde Gastroenteroloji Cerrahisi (sindirim sistemi cerrahisi) eğitimi aldı.

2012 yılında Türkiye’nin en genç Gastroenteroloji Cerrahı oldu ve Marmara Üniversitesi Pendik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesine atandı. 2012 – 2018 yılları arasında, Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerine ve genel cerrahi asistanlarına birçok ders verdi, hastalara yönelik ve cerrahlara yönelik birçok eğitim faaliyetinde rol aldı. İleri laparoskopik cerrahi, Obezite ve Metabolik cerrahi alanında çalıştı, ayrıca organ nakli ve İnflamatuar barsak hastalıkları cerrahisi ünitelerinin kurulmasında aktif olarak rol aldı. 2017 mart ayında yapılan sınavla Doçent ünvanınına layık görüldü.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Ömer Bilgehan Poyrazoğlu is a general and bariatric surgeon with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. He graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his general surgery specialization at the same institution.

His practice focuses on bariatric and metabolic surgery. He also performs advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery, and endoscopy. Dr. Philipp Riss leads the Surgical Endocrinology Working Group at the Medical University of Vienna. He specializes in general and visceral surgery. Dr. Riss is known for his expertise in thyroid and neuroendocrine tumor surgery. He has made important contributions to the field of endocrine surgery.

Dr. Riss received the Venia Docendi Award in 2017 and the Sandoz Award for Thyroid Research in 2010. He has organized international congresses and published many scientific papers. Dr. Abdulkadir Bedirli completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1988. In 2011, Dr. Bedirli completed the Robotic Surgery Certification Program in Strasbourg and became a console surgeon. In 2018, he completed the Gastric Cancer Master Class program at Severance Hospital in Seoul-South Korea, and in 2019, he participated in the Bariatric Redo Surgery training program in Bruges-Belgium.

Dr. Bedirli was awarded the F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) title by the American College of Surgeons in 2018. He has published 61 international and 47 national papers, presented 87 papers at international conferences and 68 papers at national conferences, contributed to 7 book chapters, and served as an editor for one book. Dr. Bedirli has an H-index of 18, with 1064 citations to his 72 publications.

Dr. Jaydeep Palep is a bariatric and upper GI surgeon with 17 years of experience. He specializes in minimally invasive and robotic weight loss surgeries. Dr. Palep is one of the first surgeons in India trained in Banded Bypass, Banded Sleeve Gastrectomy, and Mini Gastric Bypass. He has also received advanced training in Robotic GI Surgery in Italy and the USA.

Cüneyt Çiftdoğan, who started his medical education at Ege University in 1988, graduated as a medical doctor in 1994 after an intensive and successful medical education.
