Assoc. Prof. Ozdogan, M.D., Ph.D., completed his education at Yeditepe University Health Sciences Institute in the Molecular Medicine Doctorate Program under Prof. Dr. Turgay İsbir, and he also studied at Saint Louis University in Arkansas, USA, with Prof. Dr. M. Dr. Omer Necip Aytug is a respected gastroenterologist. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1980. He became an internist at Cukurova University in 1985. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Marmara University in 1997.

He was named Associate Professor at Firat University in 1989. In 1998, he became a Professor at Abant Izzet Baysal University. Dr. Aytug has written many scientific papers and book chapters. He has also attended several national and international congresses.

He has held important academic and clinical roles at Duzce University Faculty of Medicine, Camlica Medicana Hospital, and Memorial Service Hospital. These positions have established him as an expert in gastroenterology.

Prof. Dr. Sezer Sağlam is a medical oncologist at Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale Hospital. He specializes in gastrointestinal and breast cancers. He has contributed to cancer care through research, especially with his study on the best timing for surgery after neoadjuvant therapy in rectal cancer. This work has influenced global treatment protocols.

Dr. Sağlam has led clinical trials in targeted therapies and precision medicine. His research on liver-transplanted patients with hepatocellular carcinoma was nominated for the 2024 International Best Researcher Award. He is a member of ASCO, ESMO, and ENET.
