In 1981 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Barcelona.

Specialist in medical-surgical dermatology and venereology MIR at the Hospital del Sagrado Corazon in Barcelona in 1987.

After completing his specialty, he worked as a doctor at the Hospital del Sagrado Corazón in Barcelona until 1993, where he gained experience in dermatological surgery and laser therapy.

Dr. Özlem Çolak is a Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. She earned her medical degree from Kocaeli University.
