2010 April Medical Specialty Examination (TUS) Turkey ranked first.
In July 2016, he was selected for the "Retina - Macula - Vitreous Diseases & Surgery Clinical Researcher" program of Istanbul Retina Institute.
He has conducted more than 50 scientific studies on retinal diseases, most of which were published in international top class journals.
With his scientific studies on retinal diseases, he was entitled to become an active member of the Medical Retina Unit and Vitreoretinal Surgery Unit of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association (TOD).

Dr. Ulrich Schaller is an experienced ophthalmologist. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgeries, such as LASIK, PRK, and ReLEx SMILE. He also treats retinal diseases, including age-related wet macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions, and diabetic macular edema.

Dr. Verges graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1980 and moved to Boston (USA) to conduct basic research in ophthalmology, obtaining a PhD in Biology from Harvard University and defending his doctoral thesis on the mechanisms of tear secretion, which would become the basis for understanding the pathology of dry eye syndrome (thesis presented in Barcelona, ​​1983) and which earned him the National Research Prize (1983).
