Prof. Dr. Engin Tutar was born in Istanbul in 1964. He completed his primary and secondary education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi between 1975 and 1982, and graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1988. In December of the same year, he started his specialization in the Department of Pediatrics at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital, becoming a specialist in Pediatrics in February 1993. He completed his subspecialty training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, becoming a subspecialist in 2006. He served as the Assistant Chief Physician and Acting Chief Physician at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital between 2010 and 2012. In May 2012, he transferred to Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, where he became an Associate Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in 2014, and a Professor in 2020. Alongside his international and national article authorships, he has given over 50 presentations at congresses/courses/association meetings. He retired in May 2024 while serving as the head of the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition department at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. As of June 2024, he is accepting patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.

Dr. Camel Kopty is a specialist in internal medicine, gastroenterology, endoscopy, and hepatology. He focuses on liver and pancreatic diseases, as well as bile duct disorders. He has performed more than 28,000 diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Dr. Kopty has strong experience in gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

He has received several awards and quality certificates in clinical endoscopy. His research in hepatology, including hepatitis B and C, has gained international recognition. Dr. Kopty has published many articles and received FDA research awards for his work.

Dr. Harald Rosen is a leading abdominal surgeon. He specializes in endocrine, gastrointestinal, liver, colon, and bariatric surgeries. His expertise includes complex procedures such as sleeve gastrectomy and gastric anastomosis. Dr. Rosen is known for his research on improving the quality of life for rectal cancer patients after surgery. Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. Dr. Lubos Zitnan is a gastroenterologist at the Gastroenterology Department of the National Cancer Institute. He has worked there since 2010. He also serves on the committee of the Oncology Section of the Slovak Gastroenterological Society.

His practice includes colonoscopy, gastroscopy, endosonography (EUS), and ERCP for pancreatic and biliary diseases. He holds certificates in diagnostic and interventional esophagogastroduodenoscopy, diagnostic and interventional colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, in 2003. He completed an internal medicine residency at Malacky Hospital. He began specialized training in gastroenterology at the National Cancer Institute in 2007.

Dr. Andrej Orságh is a gastroenterologist, certified in 2015. He has worked at the Gastroenterology Department of the National Cancer Institute (NOÚ) since 2016. Since 2019 he has been the institute’s specialist consultant for colorectal cancer screening. He leads the colorectal cancer screening working group of the Slovak Gastroenterological Society. He is vice-chair of its Endoscopy Section and chair of its Oncology Section.

He graduated from Comenius University in 2009. He trained at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the University Hospital in Bratislava and at the Slovak Medical University. He shares his expertise at professional conferences and in publications. He also teaches basic and advanced endoscopic techniques in NOÚ courses.

Dr. Juraj Letkovsky has been a gastroenterologist at the Gastroenterology Department of the National Cancer Institute (NOÚ) since 2017. He graduated in medicine in 2012 and earned a PhD in internal medicine in 2016. He obtained specialization in gastroenterology in 2018.
