Dr. Freygant is the head of the General Surgery Department, where general and oncological surgery procedures are performed using modern techniques and methods. The department specializes in gallbladder, hernia and varicose veins surgeries. The doctor conducts a consultative reception, including an appointment and consultation with a surgeon. Performs ultrasound examinations of the abdominal organs, retroperitoneal space and soft tissues. Performs minimally invasive surgeries under ultrasound navigation, such as puncture and drainage of the omental bursa in acute necrotic pancreatitis, drainage of retroperitoneal tissue sections, puncture and drainage of cysts and liver abscesses, drainage of pancreatic pseudocysts, as well as cholangiostomy and cholecystostomy in mechanical jaundice. Also performed are surgeries for hernias of the anterior abdominal wall and for diseases of soft tissues, including laparoscopic and open surgeries for various conditions, including acute appendicitis and chronic calculous cholecystitis.

Dr. Javier Centeno obtained his Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1988 and completed his specialization in General and Gastrointestinal Surgery at the Hospital de Mutua de Terrassa between 1989 and 1993.

Afterwards, Dr. Centeno completed additional training in the colorectal surgery department at the Mayo Clinic de Rochester, Minnesota (USA). Since 1993, Dr. Centeno has been a leading specialist in the surgery department at the Teknon Medical Center.

Prof. Selin Kapan has been a Professor of General Surgery since 2017. She is currently with Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery (2022–present). She previously worked at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Specialist and Associate Professor. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. In addition, she was Medical Coordinator and General Surgeon at Istanbul Surgery Hospital.

She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Her research covers hernia repair, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, hepatic hydatid disease, laparoscopic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. Her work has been published in journals such as Digestive Surgery, Hernia, Techniques in Coloproctology, and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. She is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, the National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, the Hernia Society, the Turkish HPB Surgery Association, the Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies Association, and the Gastroesophageal Reflux Association.
