Dr. Victor Alexander Krol is a highly qualified specialist, heading the departments of gastroenterology and internal medicine. Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. After specializing in general surgery, He held key positions as head of general surgery departments and chief physician in several prominent military hospitals, including Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara, and Manisa.

Dr. Osman has had a special focus on endoscopic surgery since 1995. He received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery techniques in Germany and has successfully performed a wide range of laparoscopic procedures. In 2002, Dr. Osman transitioned to the private sector, where he broadened his practice to include modern treatments for anal diseases like hemorrhoids, fistulas, and fissures, utilizing advanced techniques such as laser therapy.

Dr. Osman is also recognized for his significant contributions to oncological surgery. He has a wealth of experience in the surgical treatment of various cancers, including breast and thyroid cancer, where he has implemented new treatment methods that reduce the risk of complications. His surgical expertise spans critical cancer surgeries, such as the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer resections, gastric cancer, and other complex malignancies. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ömer Bilgehan Poyrazoğlu is a general and bariatric surgeon with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. He graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his general surgery specialization at the same institution.

His practice focuses on bariatric and metabolic surgery. He also performs advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery, and endoscopy. He received advanced training in obesity and robotic surgery in France, Ankara, and Istanbul. He has performed many procedures for local and international patients.

Dr. Poyrazoğlu is a member of the Turkish Surgical Society, Turkish Liver Transplant Association, Turkish Medical Association, and IFSO. He has published in international peer‑reviewed journals and presented at leading surgical meetings. He provides safe, modern, evidence‑based care.

Dr. Tamer Abdelbaki, MD, MS, MRCS, PhD, is a globally recognised Consultant in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery and a Professor of Surgery at Alexandria University. He invented the Bikini Sleeve technique. This high-precision gastric sleeve approach leaves minimal visible scarring. He has treated thousands of international patients seeking safe, effective, and aesthetically superior weight-loss surgery in Egypt.

Dr. Manuel Rodrigo Prieto Aldape is a bariatric and metabolic surgeon in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has over 21 years of practice and has performed more than 3,500 procedures. He is board-certified in general surgery and bariatric surgery by the Mexican Board of General Surgery and CMCOEM. He holds a master’s in medical sciences. He completed his general surgery training at the Civil Hospital of Guadalajara. He later served as Chief of the Bariatric Surgery Unit at the same hospital.

He has taught dozens of residents and speaks at national and international congresses. His leadership roles include President of the College of General Surgeons of Jalisco. He is the Scientific Section Coordinator for Bariatric Surgery at the Mexican Association of General Surgery. He is also Head of the Education Committee of the Mexican College of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (2023–2025). His research includes 8 peer-reviewed papers and 2 book chapters on obesity, hernia repair, and metabolic outcomes.
