He was born in France in 1969. After graduating from İzmir Müdafaai Hukuk Primary School and Bornova Anatolian High School, he entered Ege University Faculty of Medicine. After completing his specialization at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine Ear Nose and Throat Clinic, he worked as Op.Dr. Together with Denizhan Özkaya, he founded ENTO Ear, Nose and Throat in Alsancak.

Op.Dr., who worked as a visiting doctor at the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic of the University of Vienna, Austria, in 1998. Ümit Filiz speaks English and German.

He is a member of the Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head and Neck Surgery Association, the Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head and Neck Surgery Foundation, the Turkish ENT Facial Plastic Surgery Working Group, the Turkish Sleep Research Association and the European Sleep Research Association Aviation Medical Association.

He received the “Flight Medicine” certificate at the Eskişehir Aerospace Medicine Physiological Training Course within the Air Force (8 October – 16 November 2001). Aesthetic and functional nose surgery, endoscopic sinus surgeries and snoring and apnea surgery are his special areas of interest.

After he completed his University in Dicle University Medical Faculty, he has specialized in ENT Clinic in Izmir Education and Reseacrh Hospital. Following he worked in Aydin Medline Hospital as ENT Specialist. Since May 2012 he began working at Private ENTO ENT Medical Center and still continue to work there.He is a highly skilled specialist in the treatment of protruding ears (otoplasty) and a broad range of related ear conditions. Prof. Dr. Fehmi Döner is an experienced Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist with more than 20 years in clinical practice. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialty training at Erzurum Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Döner earned the titles of associate professor and professor at Süleyman Demirel University in Isparta. These titles reflect his expertise and academic achievements. Dr. Sezgin Bekdemir is a distinguished Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist based in İzmir, Turkey. Born in 1974 in Bulancak, Giresun, he completed his secondary education in Giresun before enrolling at the 19 May University Medical Faculty in Samsun in 1992. Dr. Özlem Çolak is a Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. She earned her medical degree from Kocaeli University. She completed her specialization at Ankara Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Çolak has held academic roles at the University of Health Sciences and Demiroğlu Bilim University. She became an Associate Professor in 2019 and a full Professor in 2024.

Prof. Dr. Ali Vefa YÜCETÜRK was born in Aydın in 1963. He graduated from Hakimiyetimilliye Primary School in 1974, Izmir Private Turkish High School in 1980, and graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1986.

After completing his compulsory service at Adıyaman's Çelikhan District Health Center in 1986-89, he specialized in Ear Nose and Throat Diseases at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine between 1989-92 and worked in the same clinic as a specialist until 1994. KKK in 1993. He did his military service at Izmir Military Hospital.

He started working as an ENT faculty member at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine in 1994, and became an associate professor in 1999 and a professor in 2005.

In 1996, he carried out studies and research on larynx and parotid surgery at the ENT Clinic of the University of Ferrara, Italy, with Prof. Dr. Carlo Calearo and Prof. Dr. Antonio Pastore.

He is a member of the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association and the Laryngology Association.

He supervised four theses on laryngeal cancer, inner ear hearing loss and snoring-sleep apnea.

Professor Claudio Vicini brings over 40 years of expertise in Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery. He is internationally recognized for his proficiency sleep surgery and  in robotic-assisted surgeries, particularly for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and head and neck cancers. As a leading expert in Eagle syndrome, Prof. Vicini has extensive experience in its diagnosis and treatment, especially through surgical styloidectomy, open or transoral. 

Following a distinguished clinical career at renowned national and international institutions, Prof. Vicini now serves as a consultant, surgeon, and medical coordinator at GVM Hospitals. He also leads the Kalypnos Project at Lucia Magnani Health Clinic, an innovative multidisciplinary program designed to diagnose and address insomnia, snoring, and sleep apnea comprehensively, including their association (COMISA).

Prof. Claudio Vicini earned his medical degree from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 1978 as Student at   Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari – Collegio S.Anna.
