As a child, the career I wanted the most was to become a doctor because I wanted to help others, give back to the society, and provide something good to my fellow humans. When I grew up, I became a doctor as I had always dream of. 

During my time as a medical student, I developed a strong passion for performing procedures because I enjoyed it and I was good at it. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayfun Türkaslan is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. He has published over 20 articles in international journals. He completed advanced training abroad, including at St James Seacroft University Hospital in the UK.

Dr. Türkaslan became an Associate Professor in 2010. He has worked at Bezmialem University and Istanbul Yavuz Selim Hospital. He is a member of the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association, the American Maxillofacial Surgeons Association, and the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
