Dr. Aliosmanoğlu conducts research on hepatobiliary health and surgical outcomes. He has led several funded projects at Dicle University. His work includes studying the effects of ellagic acid on intra-abdominal adhesions. These adhesions are bands of scar tissue that form between abdominal organs. The specialist also investigated erythropoietin levels in cases of obstructive jaundice. He studied protective treatments for pancreatic and hepatic damage in 2010.
