Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Yıldırım is a thoracic surgeon with Turkish Thoracic Surgery Proficiency Certification (2003). He is also a member of the European Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons (FETCS). Dr. Yıldırım completed fellowships at several international centers. At the Toronto Lung Transplant Program, he took part in 85 recipient surgeries and nearly 100 donor organ procurements.

Dr. Yıldırım wrote Turkey’s first overseas clinical publication on lung transplantation. He has presented at 37 international and 19 national congresses. He serves as a reviewer for leading journals and holds four patents in biomedical engineering. His areas of expertise include lung cancer, chest wall tumors, mesothelioma, benign lung diseases, and advanced chest wall deformity surgeries.

Dr. Taha Bahadir Uskul is a specialist in pulmonology and tuberculosis at Memorial Şişli Hospital in Istanbul. He previously worked at Florence Nightingale Hospitals and Istanbul Okan University Hospital.

He earned his MD from Istanbul University. He completed his specialization in pulmonology and tuberculosis at SB Istanbul Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital. He received Turkish Board Certification in Pulmonology in 2002. He is trained in interventional bronchoscopy, medical thoracoscopy, transbronchial needle aspiration, rigid bronchoscopy, and polysomnography.

His awards include Excellent Presentation and the Harasawa Fellowship (APSR, 2006). He also received a Certificate of Appreciation in 2008. He has 11 international and 23 national peer-reviewed publications and numerous presentations.

Dr. Mesut Bayraktaroglu is a skilled pulmonologist at Private Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul. He has also worked at Istanbul Aydin University Florya Medical Park Hospital and Yedikule Chest Diseases Hospital. In these roles, he gained strong clinical experience.

Dr. Bayraktaroglu completed his pulmonology residency at Yedikule Chest Diseases Training and Research Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. He has held key positions in several major hospitals in Istanbul, focusing on chest diseases and respiratory care.

Dr. Ozden Gul is a general surgeon trained at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. She has decades of surgical experience and is fluent in English.

Her practice includes gastrointestinal surgery (gallbladder disease, hernias, appendicitis, GI disorders). Dr. Orhan Dalkılıç, M.D., is a pulmonologist with expertise in bronchoscopy, sleep disorders, asthma, allergies, COPD, tuberculosis, smoking cessation, and lung cancer. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saydam Mehmet is a general surgeon at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital (2025–present). His work covers oncologic, endocrine, and metabolic surgery. Dr. Ergun Tozkoparan is a pulmonologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating lung diseases. He has a special focus on tuberculosis. He received his medical degree from GATA Military Medical School in 1989. He completed his pulmonology training at GATA, Ankara in 1996.

Dr. Tozkoparan has worked in leading hospitals in Turkey. He also served as a professor at the GATA Department of Pulmonology. He gained further experience in interventional pulmonology during a year at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center.

In 2007, Dr. Tozkoparan published research in CCLM. He showed important changes in platelet indices in patients with tuberculosis. This work helped improve how the disease is monitored and managed.

He completed his residency in the department of Pulmonary Medicine at Ege University in 2009. He was pulmonologist at Dr. Yusuf Azizoğlu State Hospital, Silvan, Diyarbakır from 2009 to 2010. He has also authored 7 articles that are published in peer-review journals and 12 proceedings. He is still member of Lung and Pleural Malignancies Study Group of Turkish Thoracic Society and Interventional Pulmonology Study Group of Turkish Respiratory Society.
