Clínica Tarrazo is a private multi-specialty aesthetic and plastic surgery center established in 1996. The clinic operates its primary facility in Madrid, Spain. It also maintains a secondary presence in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A team of 11 doctors provides surgical and non-surgical treatments for the face, body, and hair.

Accreditations and Professional Expertise

The clinic holds accreditation from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). Its medical team is led by founder Dr. Manuel Tarrazo, a plastic surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He previously served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Hospital de la Venerable Orden Tercera de San Francisco de Asís for 15 years.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

The surgical department focuses on body sculpting and facial rejuvenation. Surgeons perform various complex procedures to reshape proportions and improve facial harmony.

• Facelift and Neck Lift: Procedures to address sagging skin. Final results appear between 3 weeks and 3 months.
• Rhinoplasty: Surgical reshaping of the nose structure.
• Body Contouring: Includes tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), panniculectomy, and 360 liposuction.
• Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL): A procedure combining liposuction with fat grafting to add volume.
• Breast Surgery: Augmentation, reduction, and lifting procedures, including gynecomastia treatment for men.

Surgeons use lipotransference techniques. This involves purifying a patient's own fat, then injecting it in precise layers for natural-looking volume. Surgical recovery typically takes 1 to 2 weeks. Full healing may require up to two months.

Aesthetic Medicine and Hair Restoration

Non-surgical treatments offer rejuvenation without traditional surgery. The clinic provides signature protocols like FaceFlash – a 60-minute session designed for immediate results. Other options include PRGF (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors) to stimulate collagen and Indiba radiofrequency for skin tightening.

The specialized Unidad Capilar (Capillary Unit) treats about 90% of alopecia cases using medical therapies and surgery. Specialists perform hair transplants with the FUE technique. This method allows up to 6,000 grafts per session without visible linear scars. Hair loss diagnostics include genetic testing and dermatoscope analysis to assess follicle health.

Specialized Care and Hyperhidrosis

The clinic treats hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) using neuromodulator microinjections. These block nerve signals that activate sweat glands in the armpits, hands, or feet. Results typically last 4 to 6 months. For intimate health, the facility provides gynecoesthetics, including surgical correction for vaginal prolapse at the Madrid location.

Services for International Patients

Clínica Tarrazo manages medical tourism between Spain and the Dominican Republic. International patients can access a free online pre-evaluation via WhatsApp to discuss treatment plans before traveling. The clinic assists with logistics, including hotel partnerships and ticket bookings. Specialists provide consultations in both Spanish and English.
